About me
Hello world, I'm Jenna
I'm a creative professional with a core skillset in graphic design and a passion to use design as a force for good.
I believe that climate companies that leverage design and storytelling to communicate their solutions will breakthrough and scale in untold ways.
I am currently employed full time as Senior designer and Creative Lead at Elemental Impact, where I'm proud to shape our visual communication.
Jenna Floricel
Designer
I am a visual designer working remotely in New Haven, Connecticut.
I'm in my fourth year of being the in-house designer at Elemental Impact. Elemental is a nonprofit investor with 15+ years of experience advancing technologies that create lasting environmental and local impact.

While working full time at Elemental, I've been grateful to be a part of the Climatebase Fellowship during Cohorts 7 (and parts of 8). While in New Haven, I have been taking classes at the Yale School of Environment and School of Management. Before working in climate, I worked at Uplift Campaigns as a Creative for progressive candidates, organizations, and ballot measures nationwide.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, lived in San Francisco for a few years, and recently moved out East in the fall of 2025. I relocated to be with my partner, Spencer, while he finishes dual master's degrees at Yale. Spencer also works in climate tech, and we learn so much from each other's POVs.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors with my rescue dog, Nala. I'm a creative at heart, I love all kinds of creative expression, like journaling, fashion, beauty, and interior design. On any given day, you'll find me doing yoga, listening to Beyoncé, and reading literary fiction.
